Lampstand
Who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. Psalms 24:3-4
I enter into the holy place where the candle light immediately shines on me. I no longer am an outsider, for I have been justified and sanctified so I can come closer to the holy One of Israel.
The light is now my guide and my instruction is to let the world see this light. In times past, only the priest had access to see this light from the lampstand. Now we are asked to share it with the world and not hide it as it was before, for salvation is not withheld from the world but it is an open door to any who believe and confess the Lord Jesus Christ.
The salvation of those whom i come In contact with depends on my reflection of the true Light. For this reflection to take place i must keep my light filled with oil, which represents anointing, and can only come from a close walk with the Holy Spirit. If the oil is full it sparks the fire. That is exactly what my words and testimony will produce in the lives of those who listen or see my lifestyle; a fire in their conscience, a blaze that will cause them to reevaluate their lives. With this said I must accept tribulations in my life that I might be pressed as olives were also in order to produce the virgin perfect quality oil. And so tribulations in my life will cause me to be pressed to the point of Christ's perfection breaking forth out of my spirit.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. 2 Cor. 4:17
If I allow the hardship of this world break me, then I will be changed and will be as He was; A light in the midst of darkness.
For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
2 Cor. 4:6
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden." Matthew 5:13-15
